Wyoming at Night

Stars over Big Horn

I can’t tell you how far short this comes from the actual night sky over Big Horn, Wyoming.  It looks like someone shook a brush full of White Out onto a piece of black construction paper.

Even in a city as small as Cheyenne, there is so much light from all that needs to be seen at night that the stars are all but invisible.  Where we are, in Big Horn, there isn’t any competition for the starlight.

It’s a cold, clear night, and its easy to see the glory of God’s creation by just tilting your head back and opening your eyes.

So here, dear reader, is a little slice of that big Wyoming sky.

PS – Be sure to click on the picture to see it in full resolution.  It’s worth it.
